Greetings!

I apologize for any cross-posting from GOVDOC-L. This is a call
for help with specifically arranging the Map Collection!

We are in the process of moving our Government Documents are to another
floor to combine with our Map Collection. In addition, we need to
designate space for patent material we will be receiving as we have
recently been designated a Patent Depository.

We are interested in how other Gov Docs have used their space to
accomodate material, staff, study areas, reference desk, etc.

I am particularly interested in how your map collection is arranged.
Currently, my map cases are in a straight line with long tables for
patron use. I have 14 cases measuring about 54" wide. I would like
to anticipate growth space for 3-4 cases.

Please send any hints and/or horror stories! Also any volunteers
to help us move :-)!

TIA
