'Historic Documents Lost in Library Fire' (from The Associated Press).

'Washington, DC -- A blaze that devoured the roof of the DC Public Library's
Georgetown branch was undergoing renovations when a fire started at about
12:20 Monday ... The library contained the Peabody Room, which houses a
collection of maps, photos, art and documents on every house in Georgetown.
Archivist Jerry McCoy says the artifacts aren't replaceable and in many
cases, no copies exist.'

No further details given.
