This may be of interest to those of you who catalog on OCLC.

In the print version of Technical Bulletin 236, the input standard for field
052 (Geographic Classification) is 'Optional'.  This standard is correct for
all formats, except Maps.  In the Maps format, field 052 remains 'Mandatory'
at Full Level and 'Optional' at Minimal Level.  The web version,
http://www.oclc.org/oclc/tb/tb236/index.htm, was corrected on March 31,
2000.  The input standard in _Bibliographic Formats and Standards_  is
correct.
