Begin text---------------

I am looking for aerial photography from Cuba which was taken prior to
Dec. 1957 allegedly by Bethlehem Steel Company. We know the photography
exists (or existed) according to a report from the Pan-american section
international committee for bird preservation, titled "The Ivory-billed
Woodpecker" by George R. Lamb in Dec.1957.

I have found out a few facts about Bethlehem Steel:
- was headquartered in Allentown, PA and went bankrupt in 2002-03
- was acquired by Wilbur Ross of International Steele Group
- this company was acquired by Mittal Steele, a European company with U.
S. headquarters in Chicago and Pennsylvania.
- this company is currently merging with ARCELOR

I have contacted Mr. Lamb and Mittal Steele without any success or solid
leads.

I have searched your holdings via the web and it appears that you do not
have this in your collection, but I am hoping that you may be able to help
me track this down. If you or anyone you know may have leads, suggestions
or access to this information please contact both myself and one of our
geographers, Christopher Wells. My contact information is below and
Chris' is: (337) 266-8651, email: [log in to unmask]

Thank you for your help,
Heather Baldwin
