I have just received some information that others may want to know about. The
British Antarctic Survey - BAS Miscellaneous Series has produced an innovative
new 1:10,000,000 scale coloured map of Antarctica which combines digitally
generated vector data with a hill-shaded image of the continent. Four
perspective views are featured on the map sheet - the first seamless digital
map of Antarctica. The full topographic database is to be published on CD-ROM
by SCAR in fall of 1993.
Flat map BAS (Misc) 7 is 9.25 pounds, folded 7.95 pounds. Orders are payable to
