Have we seen this one yet? Another position open ...

Geosciences and Maps Librarian
https://www.unrsearch.com/postings/13301

The Geosciences & Maps Librarian provides primary library support to
users of the DeLaMare Library, serving Science, Technology, Engineering,
Arts and Mathematics (STEAM), with an emphasis on the mining and earth
sciences disciplines. This faculty position shares responsibility for
all aspects of the DeLaMare Library services and operations — reference,
instruction, circulation and outreach services; collection development;
organization and maintenance of collections; facilities management;
staff management and supervision; and the collaborative development of
digital library initiatives.
The Geosciences & Maps Librarian will build relationships with faculty
and students across the Mackay School of Earth Sciences and Engineering
and other STEAM disciplines, developing collaborative projects and
incorporating current and emerging technologies into library practice as
well as research and instruction.
The Geosciences & Maps Librarian manages the Mary B. Ansari Map Library,
collaborating with the Metadata and Cataloging department to organize
and catalog the collection and improve access. The Librarian takes the
lead in furthering the development and integration of the printed map
collections with those of the W. M. Keck Earth Sciences and Nevada in
Maps websites. The Librarian promotes the use of maps and geospatial
data in teaching and research through outreach to campus faculty and
students and instruction using GIS software. The position also serves as
team leader for related digital projects, including map scanning projects.

This is a full-time, temporary faculty position with healthcare and
retirement benefits. The appointment is for one year with the intent to
renew the appointment for two additional years contingent upon funding
and satisfactory performance.
