Brendan,

Do you have access to ArcGIS? If you have the ESRI maps CD that comes
with ArcGIS, you can open the appropriate map in ArcMap then do a
File-Export to an .EMF format. Then, in CorelDraw, import that .EMF and
you will have a fully editable vector map in CorelDraw.

Does anyone have, or know of a website which has, an outline map of
countries of the world suitable for choropleth mapping in Coreldraw
or Photoshop? I see a couple for sale online, but hoped someone might
have their own they could share...

Thanks!

Brendan
