To MAPS-L list:

I am designing a new course in maps and air photos.  This is to be an introductory course and a prerequisite for more advanced cartography courses.  I would expect that many students who would enroll would be elementary and secondary education majors as well as those in geography.  Do any of you have a similar course?  Would you be willing to share any suggestions as to how to organize such a course?  What textbooks would you recommend?
