Subject: Piri re'is map
 
        I read Charles Hapgood's book, and found it to be imaginative, to say
the least.  There is a more sober and orthodox discussion in the chapter by
Svat Soucek on Islamic Charting of the Mediterranean in Vol. II of the Harley
and Woodwoord History of Cartography.
