Subject: Useful WEB SITES with Basic Geographic and Map Information

Dear Map Colleagues,

My associates in our publications department working on our Atlas
of Louisiana book project asked me to assist them in locating some good
web sites that they could refer to in locating reference geography and
basic map information they could "bookmark" and periodically go to.
If anyone has a few suggestions for me to pass on, I would certainly
appreciate hearing from you. Many thanks !
