Subject: Generalized climate maps for Hawai'i

Hello, I am assisting a college student here at MSU who is seeking temperature and precipitation average maps of Hawai'i's big island over the last 100 years. They can be quite generalized in terms of years, but geographically it needs to be detailed enough that she might extrapolate for the area between Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. Ideally she would like to see a projection of temperature readings for the area over the last 3,000 years, but that is a tall order!

All the weather station readings she has seen are not at the right elevation for her area of interest. She is more interested in locating maps than locating data at this point.

Any advice would be much appreciated!
