Good Day:

I would appreciate anyone who's library has used OCLC Microcon to catalog
maps. We have the possibility of receiving the use of a computer to microcon
our maps. The problem is we can't think of a way to make the Microcon service
work with maps. As I understand it, with Microcon you supply OCLC a floppy
disk of ISBNs or similar unique identifier and OCLC will supply you with a
matching record. Our problem is that very few of our maps have an ISBN or
similar unique identifying number. If you have managed to make Microcon work
for you, I would appreciate hearing about your experience.

Thanks,

Michael McDonnell
