Many MAGERT members feel a significant loss with the death of Mark
Crotteau
in late July.  He was so much a part of our cataloging meetings and our
newsletter, base line, with his cataloging column, that we would like to
publish a tribute to him in a future issue.  MAGERT members, Maps-L
readers, and others who knew Mark personally or through his column are
welcome to send reminiscences, anecdotes, and appreciations of him that
they would like to share to be a part of this tribute.  Please e-mail
them
or otherwise send them to me at the address below, preferably by the end
of
October.  If you will be sending something later, please just let me
know
by the end of October when to expect it.  Thank you.
