The Middlebury College map collection will be moving into the new science
building when construction is completed this summer. The college is
purchasing 48 new map cases to house it. I have asked our purchasing
department to get pricing on Mayline map cases. They have notified me
that they can get Safco map files on sale for about 2/3 of the price of
the Mayline cabinets. Is this a price too good to miss, or are the
Mayline cabinets so superior that I should insist on buying them? If
you have had experience with the Safco product, I'd like to hear from
you. Please reply to me directly. Many thanks.
