I have seen several posts recently concerning the different acronyms and
abbreviations out there as well as where they come from.  Unfortuneately, I
havn't always seen a way to access this information.  ie an internet address, a
snail mail address, a contact person, etc.  Example:

 military handbook Glossary of Mapping Charting and
Geodetic Terms (by the USA DOD ) , contains
some relevant data.
 
Where might one pick up a copy of this handbook?
