Dear Mapping Friends~

The second edition of the Baja California Guide Map from Esparza
Editores has just been released! Printed on heavy glossy paper this
two sided map has updated content and a colorful new look. The
boundaries of protected areas, biosphere preserves and parks are an
important feature of this map.

Uncluttered with the seasonal creeks and topographic information
important for off road travel, this map is tailored for road travel
in Baja. Highways, paved roads, graded roads and dirt roads are all
clearly designated. Tourist and recreational information such as
surfing spots, areas for RV camping, fishing, locations of resorts,
restaurants, missions, etc are all included. Coastal and island
points, bays and inlets are all named and latitude and longitude
lines are shown at one degree intervals.

The main cities are highlighted in color and driving distances
between them are clearly indicated. This makes a big difference when
you are behind the wheel on the Trans-Peninsular Highway and want to
quickly find a major reference point. This map is easy to read and
full of information for the Baja traveler. As important as what to
include on a map is what not to include and we think this publisher
has chosen well, making this a reader friendly road companion,
without extraneous information to read around.
