 I am looking for "Tommaws Fork". It may be on Bear River.  It is mentioned
in an old journal of 1858 and I can't find any such name, or similar one, in
the USGS GNIS.  Probably a new name has been substituted for this name.  It
is a "mean, sluggish stream" somewhere between Soda Springs, Id and Fort
Bridger,Wy apparently on or near  the Oregon Trail.  Any suggestions as to
how I might find the location of an old name like this sincerely appreciated.
