Xiaohong,

I have tried to scan mylar-like aerials with not much luck. Just like the scanning of negs involves a film scanner, this might involve the a similar apparatus. I looked at the specs of your scanner and wasn't sure if it has the inherent capability or whether there's a device that will allow scanning of large, half-tone mylar transparencies.  You might want to give any of the folks below a call and see what they advise.
