     There will be an obituary notice in the May 3 issue of the New York
     Times about Maud's memorial service.
 
     She will be remembered in a requiem service at her beloved St. Thomas
     Episcopal Church, Fifth Avenue at 53d Street, Saturday, May 18, at 10
     a.m. Friends and colleagues are invited to attend.
 
     Contributions to a book fund in her memory may be sent to the Rare
     Books and Manuscripts Division of The New York Public Library, 5th
     Avnue & 42d Street, New York, NY 10018-2788--to the attention of Lisa
     Browar.
