This 23rd annual California Studies conference brings together academics
and activists to discuss a range of issues that lead us from what
California used to be to where it is going now. Topics include
"Parallels from the Past: Progressive Upheavals that Changed
California," The 'New' Political Landscape of California," and "Sharing
Geography and Building Community with Art and Technology." An optional
Berkeley history walking tour follows.
