Open Letter to Phil Hoehn:
 
        The Robinson Map Library does not have the G.S.G.S. 1:50,000 series
of Java & Madura, but we do have the Dutch series which seems to have been
used as the base.
 
        The sheets were "Reproductiebedrijf Topografische dienst, Batavia;"
we have:
 
        sh. 36/XXXVIII-D  Buitenzorg, 1924
        sh. 37/XXXIX-A    Goenoeng Pangrango, 1925
 
        Please contact me if you still need to have copies made.
