Hello Heather,
The University of Ottawa Map Library and some other Canadian
map libraries have catalogued a significant number of AMS series
and individual maps (eg. Series 1101, 1106, 1142, 1144, etc.).
Search our catalogue (ORBIS) under author "United States. Army
Map Service." for complete listing. If you find any records which
could be useful to your library and which are not in OCLC contact
me via email and I will put you in touch with Head of Tech Services
and she will help you download them (I have already spoken to her
in regards to this matter).

Regards,
Frank Williams.

We have a large collection of the old Army Map Service/Defense Mapping
Agency maps of regions of the world. I was wondering if anyone has
cataloged these using either one blanket record for the whole groups of
series or one record for each series, e.g. series 1101 for the world,
series 1111 for the americas, etc. I wasn't able to locate any copy in
OCLC, but I thought perhaps others had done this or had attempted and
found other ways to represent the collection in their catalog. Thanks
in advance for any assistance.

-Heather
