     The article on Drake was interesting and I wondered if Samuel Eliot Morison would cringe at
Sam Bawlf's assertion that Drake explored Canada's West Coast. However I reread Morison's
Northern Voyages A.D. 500 - 1600 and on  p. 497 the following appears;  ......."At the Pacific
end the Spanish produced a mythical strait of Anian through North America to the Atlantic; Drake
searched for it on his circumnavigation."   I would like to read more !
