In the past year or two the N&O lists indicate that an increasing number
of federal depository libraries have been weeding large chunks or all of
their printed USGS topographic maps, since they are now available online
at the National Map website, http://nationalmap.gov/ustopo/ . If your
library has been heavily weeding your printed topographic maps, do you
have a plotter to print maps for patrons who would like a printed copy,
and has there been any dissatisfaction expressed by patrons or faculty
members about the migration of topographic maps from printed format to
online access?

Any observations you might care to share would be most welcome. Thanks!
