Jerry Thornton asked about how to handle the old "Standard map series
designation" note under the new format integration standards.

After discussion with John Attig, our format integration guru here we both
agreed that Jerry's proposed method should work, that is to use the 246
field in the following manner:

246 1 subfield "i" Standard map series designation: subfield "a" Series
S831.

This should create the note as we're all used to seeing:

500 Standard map series designation: Series S831

with a title added entry for "Series S831".

For parallel title situations create a second 246 in the same
format as above using the other language's form of the word "Series" and
the results should be the same.

After a few of us have tried it out to see how this *really* works could we
post our results to the list? Much appreciated.
