Scripps Institution of Oceanography last received 7 maps in
June 1994. My most recent newsletter from them is no.16 May
1989; the contact was still Robert Senter (PAIGH
Coordinator). A few years ago I learned that the DMA would
reduce support for this mapping program; I hope that
information is not true. The PAIGH series has been a
slow-going process, or at least release of their maps to
civilian users has been agonizingly slow. I too would like
to see production/distribution of this fine series
          accelerated.

The latest shipment we received on subscription was in June of 1994 which
included 7 sheets.
Before that we had received a letter sent to subscribers from Paul Peeler,
Jr., the U.S. Representative to the PAIGH Commission on Cartography.
It advised subscribers that the program was being "reactivated" and
provided the following contact information:
        Dennis Dodson, Program Mgr.
        DMA ICM
Attn: PAIGH Unified Hemispheric Mapping Program
        ST D - 65
        4600 Sangamore Rd
        Bethesda MD 20816-5003

        Tel: 301/227-4759

Mr. Dodson replaced Robert Senter who retired.

Hope this helps.

Jim,
We have received some since 1987, but I've not taken the time to
look up the exact dates. However, in our correspondence file is a 23
February 1993 letter that gives the name of Dennis Dodson as the new
program manager replacing Robert Senter who retired. The contact address
given was:
        DMA ICM
ATTN: PAIGH Unifified Hemispheric Mapping Program
        ST D - 65
        4600 Sangamore Road
        Bethesda, MD 20816-5003
        Telephone: 301-227-4759

If it has changed recently, perhaps someone else will post more current
information. I hope that this will help.

We got some PAIGH sheets in 1993. Do you have their latest
(as of '93) address? PAIGH Commission on Cartography,
DMA-IOM, International Operations, ST D-65, ATTN: Dennis
Dodson, 4600 Sangamore Road, Bethesda MD 20816-5003.

Don't let your Acq. Dept cancel this standing order.
These maps are invaluable.
