I'm a novice who is interested in using USGS maps and databases to
preserve the sites of cemeteries and landmarks. I once heard that if you
sent a marked USGS map to USGS, they would replace your copy and add your
information to future maps. I know of the locations of cemeteries, some
still visable and some nearly obliterated, that do not appear on current
USGS maps. What is the current policy? How do I send these corrections,
Where do I send them, and what action, if any, will be taken on them?
