Government documents and information in a variety of formats continue to
be an essential part of our library collections.  Please take a moment
to submit nominations on the form at the link listed above of your
favorite international, federal, state, or local titles for
consideration by the GODORT Notable Documents Panel.  A brief
description and bibliography of the annual articles as well as the
selection process and criteria by which nominations are judged are
available at the sites listed below.  Nominations will be accepted
through December 31, 2005 for titles/government information published in
2004-2005.  Those selected are featured in an article in the May 15
issue of Library Journal copies of which are also distributed at ALA
Annual thus bringing these important resources to the attention of the
library community.
