Subject: New subject headings for cartographic materials

Hi-- our principal cataloger was cataloging the recent "Maps & related
cartographic materials: cataloging, classification, and bibliographic
control" book edited by Paige Andrew and Mary Larsgaard and decided there
weren't adequate subject headings.  Since we're a SACO library, he proposed
the following two subject headings that have been approved.  These are for
items "about" cartographic materials and  cataloging of cartographic

NEW LCSH

Cartographic materials
Cataloging of cartographic materials

also
Added Cartographic materials as BT on Remote-sensing images
Changed BT on Maps from Nonbook materials to Cartographic materials
Added Cartographic materials as BT on Globes
