This will be a hands-on workshop working with Census 2000 data
and maps. Learn how to use American FactFinder and Census CD-
ROMs and DVD products to find data and create customized tables.
Unlock the mysteries of Census 2000 geography by working with
census maps in paper, through FactFinder, and in .PDF format.
Learn how to create legible and printable custom maps from the .PDF
map files. Receive practical tips and tricks for using census data,
such as unzipping files, importing data into Excel tables, and working
with I-PUMS, the Minnesota Population Center site for census
microdata.
