I'm going to cast a vote for "Photographs from space"

Here's the description from the "Photographs from space" authority record:

&i subdivision &a Photographs from space &i under names of countries,
cities, etc., and under topical headings for collections of photographs
taken from outer space, e.g. &a Clouds--Photographs from space;
Moon--Photographs from space

where as ...

Here are definitions from the Cartographic materials: a manual of
interpretation of AACR2 ...

"Remote sensing image"

The pictorial product of any remote sensor or remote-sensing device. See
also Aerial photograph, Image, Orthophotograph, Orthophotomosaic,
Photomosaic, Sidelooking airborne radar (SLAR) image, Synthetic aperture
radar (SAR) image. (Avery and Berlin mod.)

"Remote sensor"
Any instrument that detects and measures reflected and/or emitted
electromagnetic radiation from a distance and reflected underwater sound
waves in the case of sonar. Instruments used for collecting
remote-sensing data fall into two broad categories—nonimaging, such as
spectroradiometers, and imaging, from which two-dimensional pictorial
representations of the features under investigation can be made. (Avery
and Berlin mod.)

I would call these remote sensing images, but for an explanationof the
difference, I turn it over to Maps-L

Good morning! I'm working on a number of posters that depict photographs
of galaxies, stars, etc., and I'm struggling with an issue. What is the
difference between "remote-sensing images" and "photographs from space"?
Most of these are photographs taken from the Hubble Telescope, if that
matters.

I appreciate your assistance!
