For MAPS-L

The Bahama Islands are a part or the Caribbean speciality of the University of
Florida and as such we obtain all published maps of the Islands that we can
locate. I have had all maps larger than 1:25,000 for the Exuma Chain searched
plus name locators and nothing has appeared. The largest topo. set for this
set of islands is 1:10,000 with over 3 dozen map sheets. While Clove Cay
didnot appear, about half of the islands are not named or have two names.
Also on the maps that I doublechecked, I noticed that many of the islands
within the national parks are simply listed by the Name of the National Park.
Thus, Hawksnest Cay National Park has dozen's of cays unnamed on the map.
The closest name in the Exuma group to Clove Cay was Cove Cay.
Let me know if you get any additional lead and I will be happy to have the
maps searched. Most of the Bahama Islands are covered in 1:5,000 or 1:10,000
topographic maps.
