I'm trying to fill a request from an architecture graduate student at
Virginia Tech.  See below.  If anyone has data and will lend it or
knows where to obtain data please let me know.


Hi Mr. Brooks,

I'm a 5th Year Architecture student, and I'm working on my Thesis. My thesis
involves global population growth, urban agglomerations, densification, and
housing. My site will be somewhere in India, but I will also be talking about
these issues globally. I wanted to see if you have any GIS data on Inida or
information that would be helpful for my work. Anything would be much
appreciated.
