Hi Johnnie. I think it's a lot of work to ask you to rewrite subject
headings for all job-related annoucements. It's a slippery slope to
rewriting subject lines for all messages... Personally, it takes me about
3-5 seconds to scan a job posting to see if it's relevant to my area and
interests. I think people are mostly quite good at formatting their own
messages and subject lines. That said, I don't think it would hurt to ask
folks to format their subject lines in a certain way, and if they don't, and
it comes across incorrectly, it's really no big deal. Similar to the ESRI
lists, where there are several subject prefixes requested (DATA, SUM,
etc.) -- sometimes they don't come across in the requested format, but
mostly they do.
