What a coincidence! The December picture in the Sierra Club Adventure Travel C
calendar is "The Kingdom of Mustang, Nepal" by Galen Rowell.

There is also a little book titled "Trek to Mustang" by Stan Armington,
published by Mandela Book Point, Kathmandu. A small 40-page account (with
17 color photos) of Armington's 9-day trek to Mustang. Also includes info
on getting entrance permission (still not easy), guides, and culture. We
sell it for $7.95.
