*Q)Are institutions allowed to continue adding original bibliographic
records to WorldCat that do not have RDA elements? *

A)*Yes*, you may continue to catalog using AACR2. Please check out the
new OCLC RDA policy at: http://www.oclc.org/rda/new-policy.en.html for
guidelines on adding new records, and editing existing records.

We will be holding two webinars (duplicate presentations) that discuss
options. Here is the information about attending:

*OCLC Policy Statement Webinar***

http://www.oclc.org/support/training/partners/oclc-events/rda-policy-statement-webinar.en.html

Join us for an in-depth look at OCLC’s RDA Policy Statement. The newly
updated OCLC RDA Policy Statement became effective on March 31, 2013.
During the webinar, staff from OCLC’s WorldCat Quality Management team
will share information about upgrading WorldCat bibliographic records to
RDA. In addition, you will learn about adding RDA elements to non-RDA
records and the automated record conversions that are being planned for
the future. There will be plenty of time for your questions following
the presentation. We invite you to read the OCLC RDA Policy Statement
<http://www.oclc.org/rda/new-policy.en.html>
(http://www.oclc.org/rda/new-policy.en.html) prior to the event and
bring your questions to the webinar.

The webinar is being offered twice. Please register to attend one of
