Ken,
I'd be delighted to received the complete shipment if you don't mind
sending it across the border.
We were a full deposit for USGS until yesterday when I (like many other
Canadian map collections) received a letter from Reston saying that due to
congressional mandate to recover costs that USGS was discontinuing the
automatic distribution of topographic and thematic maps and indexes.
Perhaps our discussions a few weeks ago on MAPS-L about Canadian and US
depositories was closer to reality than we really knew. I don't know if
this was indeed meant only for Canadian institutions or if some US
depositories were also in receipt of this letter.
