Subject: Great circle calculator?
Sender: Brendan Whyte <[log in to unmask]>

Is there an online tool (or can someone give the formula) for calculating
the great circle distance between two points on the globe, given lat and
long? There must be a more accurate way than using a globe and a piece of
string...
Or is there a publication that lists major cities of the world and their
great circle distances from each other?
