Dear Ms. Hudson,

I am writing you on behalf of Dr. Ralph Salmi who is traveling in Turkey at
this time. We have a confirmed schedule for the exhibition at California
State University, San Bernardino in San Bernardino, California from 19-31
October, 2009. The other dates for the exhibition in the US are not firm
as of yet. We would very much like it if you placed those dates and
location on your nationwide calendar. Once it is posted, if you could
please forward me the website address so I may share it with the Turks. If
you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best,

Ann Marie

I hope you might assist me. I have recently learned of this forthcoming
exhibition coming from MEDAM to U.S. venues. I would like to let the U.S.
antiquarian map community know of these venues so as many as possible might
see these wonderful Reis and Celebi maps. John Docktor will place it on our
nationwide calendar.

Do you know the venue in NYC? I have only viewed the Piri Reis map once,
at the Metropolitan Museum, years ago, and look forward to viewing it
again.

Many thanks for your time on this.
