Boy, I sure see a lot familar text here... but it's WAY out of date.
CSIMARD, you need to update your files before re-posting, please.  Much
of this info comes from a May 1992 document I wrote, now superceded by
the June 1994 version at ftp://ftp.csn.org/COGS/ores.txt
 
The COGS FTP site is at ftp.csn.org in the COGS directory (not csn.org).
The newer list of "Online Resources for Earth Scientists" (ores.txt) is
there. Everything else listed about the COGS FTP is still Ok, except the
address.  The IP is still correct.
 
There are many other things listed in that old doc that are no longer
correct, also.

Please correct all these old lists floating around whenever you
see one, because every time someone posts info from an old source, I
get a flood of unwanted e-mail telling me the FTP site is hosed up.
It's even more frustrating when it's my own words regenerated in a new
list gone out of date. The file 'internet.resources.earth.sci' should be
scrapped and replaced with ores.txt where ever it turns up.
