HELP!!
We (New York Public Library) have a large number of the DMA 1:50,000
maps. We have many older editions and many newer ones too. How do you index
these so they are accessable? The numbering system makes no sense and seems
to start over at various points in the county. The sheet index is rather
confusing and the list on the back is not easy to use quickly. Is there
a simple solution? Also, what use are these maps? The 1:24,000 have better
detail--who and in what circumstances would want to use these maps, other
than the people at DMA?
Thanks,
Christopher Thiry
