 The Geography and Map Libraries Section of IFLA (The International
Federation of Library Associations and Institutions) will hold a
professional paper session during the World Library and Information
Congress in Buenos Aires, Argentina, August 21 - 28, 2004. Papers should
not be over 20 minutes in length and must be presented in one of the
five official languages of IFLA, English, Spanish, French, German, or
Russian.  Those following the conference theme "Libraries:  Tools for
Education and Development" and papers on a cartographic theme,
especially those related to Latin America, are encouraged. Send a one
page abstract to:  David C. McQuillan, Map
