Subject: NY Map Society this Saturday
 
 
 
     The New York Map Society will meet this Saturday at the office of its
     president, David Starr. Curious Pictures is located at 440 Lafayette
     Street [between E 4th and Astor Place, a short block west of Cooper
     Union, across the street from the Public Theater, formerly the Astor
     Library, and former home of some of our maps here at NYPL...]
 
     New and old members are invited to bring favorite maps from their
     collections to "show and tell or ask about."
 
     Election of new officers is also on the agenda.
 
     Membership is $25 per year.
 
     Map aficionados from the metropolitan area are invited to join us, and
     to join up for the new year, 1999!
