Subject: Historic arable lands/physical features world maps

Hello everyone,

I have a patron looking for world maps showing extent of arable lands and
other physical features (ice caps, oceans, deserts, etc.) for several
different time periods: 200,000 years ago, 1500 AD, 1980s, and 2100 (future
projection).

I don't foresee a problem with a 1980s map and have some possibilities in my
own collection, but wonder about even the existence maps for the other three
time periods. Does anyone have any ideas? I've searched OCLC briefly, but
didn't find anything regarding historical or forecasting arable lands.

Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!
