Does any one know the current name for "Boston Bar"? This name is
found on one of the views contained in the Atlantic Neptune. The plate
does not have a title but the titles of the views are as follows: The
south west coast of Nova Scotia : [Cape Negro to Port Campbell] -- The
south west coast of Nova Scotia : [Cape Sable to Port Haldimand] -- The
southern Seal Isle ... -- Boston Bar.On the view entitled Boston Bar,
certain features are identified and these are, in this order from left
to right: The Garnet Head, Plymouth Harbour, Cohasset Point.I have
looked these places in the gazetteer but I cannot find anything in that
corresponds to this sequence of names. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.ThanksVelmaVelma ParkerNational Archives of Canada, 344
