I'm working on a theme keyword thesaurus to comply with FGDC Content
Standard (6/8/94) Section 1.6.1. It's to be available online (intra- and
eventually internet) for use by both indexers and data searchers. Can any
of you point me toward examples of such a thing either online or elsewhere?
I've seen what NOAA and USGS have on their Web sites and also AEGIS'
Klamath software. If anyone has worked on a project like this, I'd
be grateful for any suggestions or caveats.

And - Does "stratum" (FGDC Content Standards 1.6.3ff) refer to what I
think of as map layers, or did I just not get it?

Thanks,
