Yes, I heard this too. I think it was in a newspaper article, perhaps the
Christian Science Monitor. It said (from memory, so may not be exact) that
three sections of USGS, including NIMA, are recommended to move over to the
CIA.

I'm worried about it too, as the CIA is less than forthcoming on almost
everything. Does anyone know any more? I'll try to find the article again.
