Cyprus mapping

The Republic of Cyprus is mapped by the Dept of Lands and Surveys, part
of the Interior Ministry.

This is on the NE corner of Alasias & Zinonos Sozou Sts. (pretty much
immediately south of the Old City, within a suburb bounded by the major
roads Leoforos Spirou Kyprianou (Leoforos Santaroza), Leoforos
Archiepiskopou Makariou III and Leoforos Tzon Kennety (ie John Kennedy).
Entry is at the back of the building (20m up Zinonos Sozou from the
corner). The map sales office is the 1st floor, open until 1:30pm weekdays.

The Dept has no website.

They produce a catalogue/price list, available free. Date: July 2006.

Payment is by cash or cheque in CYP made out to "Director of Lands and
Surveys Dept". They do not accept credit cards!
