Patrick McGlamery assumed the position of Director of the Libraries
Information Technology Services on May 1, 2004.  The University of
Connecticut Libraries are seeking a Map & Geospatial Data Librarian who is
responsible for the overall management of the Map Library-the Map and
Geographic Information Center (MAGIC)-including planning for and
implementing programs and services relating to map, cartography, remote
sensing, GIS and geospatial data resources in all formats.  This is an
exciting opportunity with a academic library, well positioned for the future
of spatial information.
