LAC seeks for immediate consideration a *GIS Maps / Metadata Archivist
*to work for the government scanning, cataloging and assigning metadata
terms to digital images and materials in Washington, DC. Previous GIS or
experience working with maps is desired as is any language capabilities,
but this is not required. REQUIRED: Must be a U.S. Citizen with active
full-scope poly clearance.

*_Requirements:_*

    * 1-2 of previous experience assigning metadata and working with
      digital images/materials;
    * Master’s degree (MLS/MLIS) is preferred but not required;
    * Previous GIS or maps experience is desired;
    * Familiarity with different languages is desired;
